Inventory Control Specialist

Job Summary

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to monitor and maintain accurate inventory records of pawned, redeemed, and unredeemed items. The successful candidate will help ensure proper inventory tracking, reconciliation, documentation, and compliance with company policies and established control procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records of pawned items, jewelry, gadgets, appliances, and other valuable assets.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile physical inventory against system records.
• Track the movement of items, including received, pawned, redeemed, transferred, and unredeemed assets.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and coordinate with branch personnel for proper resolution.
• Ensure accurate documentation and proper handling of inventory transactions.
• Monitor the status and aging of unredeemed items and coordinate with concerned departments regarding inventory disposition.
• Prepare inventory reports and submit timely updates on stock balances, discrepancies, and inventory movements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, inventory control procedures, and audit requirements.
• Coordinate with branch personnel and other departments to maintain inventory accuracy and accountability.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any four-year course, preferably in Business Administration, Accounting, Management, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in inventory control within the pawnshop industry is required.
• Knowledge of pawnshop inventory processes, including pawned items, redemptions, and unredeemed assets.
• Experience in inventory reconciliation, recordkeeping, and inventory reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical abilities.
• Trustworthy, responsible, and capable of handling sensitive inventory records.
• Willing to coordinate with multiple branches and conduct inventory checks when necessary.
