Inventory Control Specialist

Oxford Solutions is working with a client seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to support inventory management, vendor coordination, and purchasing activities in a technology-focused warehouse environment. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments to maintain accurate inventory levels.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment of technical equipment and parts.
• Obtain vendor quotes, maintain supplier relationships, and track order lead times.
• Manage minimum order quantities and inventory availability.
• Work with technical, field service, and installation teams to anticipate inventory needs.
• Coordinate with Purchasing on orders, purchase requests, and delivery schedules.
• Process freight and warehouse invoices for approval.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with general warehouse inventory operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-4 years of inventory control, warehouse inventory, or materials management experience.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience working with vendors, purchase orders, and inventory tracking systems.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) ERP preferred.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
