Inventory Controller – Automotive

We are looking for a professional, detail-oriented Inventory Controller with 3–4 years of relevant experience, preferably in the automotive industry, to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate has strong experience in inventory control, stock taking, warehouse operations and stock reconciliation, and has handled automotive spare parts or vehicle accessories.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records for automotive parts, accessories and warehouse materials
• Manage daily stock movements, including receiving, issuing, transferring and returning inventory
• Conduct regular stock taking, cycle counts and physical inventory checks
• Reconcile physical stock with system records and investigate discrepancies
• Identify and report shortages, excess stock, damaged items and inventory variances
• Receive, inspect, count and verify incoming materials and products
• Ensure proper labeling, coding, storage and organization of inventory
• Monitor fast-moving, slow-moving, damaged and obsolete stock
• Coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, sales and operations teams to keep inventory flowing smoothly
• Make sure all stock issues and transfers are properly documented and recorded
• Prepare inventory reports and give management regular stock updates
• Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual inventory audits
• Maintain accurate documentation for all inventory transactions
• Use warehouse storage space efficiently
• Follow company SOPs, inventory control procedures and safety regulations
• Keep the warehouse clean, safe and organized
• Support continuous improvement of inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency

Requirements

• 3–4 years of experience in inventory control, stock control or warehouse operations
• Automotive industry experience strongly preferred
• Experience with automotive spare parts, vehicle accessories or related products is an advantage
• Proven experience in stock taking and inventory reconciliation
• Good knowledge of warehouse and inventory management procedures
• Experience using ERP / inventory management systems
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
