INVENTORY CONTROLLER – CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an experienced Inventory Controller to join our construction team. The ideal candidate should have 3–5 years of relevant experience in inventory, warehouse, or material control within the construction industry and be capable of maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring proper material availability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor and control daily inventory movements, including receiving, issuing, transferring, and returning materials.
• Maintain accurate records of construction materials, tools, equipment, and consumables.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and inventory reconciliation.
• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, site, and project teams regarding material requirements.
• Track material consumption and identify shortages, excess stock, or discrepancies.
• Prepare inventory reports, stock statements, and material movement reports.
• Ensure proper documentation for all material receipts and issues.
• Monitor minimum/maximum stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment.
• Maintain proper storage, identification, and organization of materials.
• Investigate and report inventory discrepancies and support corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures for inventory control and documentation.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3–5 years of experience as an Inventory Controller, Stock Controller, or Material Controller, preferably within the UAE construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, tools, and consumables.
• Experience with inventory management systems/ERP and MS Excel.
• Good understanding of stock reconciliation and material documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with site and warehouse teams.
• UAE construction experience is preferred.
• Candidates who can join immediately or within a short notice period will be preferred.
