Inventory Controller

Job Summary:

Responsible for overseeing daily inventory control activities in the warehouse, ensuring accurate tracking, handling, and management of materials, products, and supplies. The Inventory Controller will supervise Stockmen, maintain optimal inventory levels, minimize inventory variances, and support efficient production and distribution operations

Job description:

• Monitor the movement of inventory, including fast-moving, medium-moving, and non-moving items.
• Ensure timely replenishment of stocks based on established inventory levels.
• Coordinate with the Planning team regarding incoming stocks, transfers, warehouse capacity, inventory accuracy, and forecasts.
• Conduct regular cycle counts to compare system records with actual physical inventory.
• Ensure proper implementation of the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) policy.
• Identify and report non-moving or slow-moving items for proper action or disposal.
• Supervise inventory personnel in picking, packing, labeling, and organizing stocks according to standard procedures.
• Train and guide inventory personnel, assign tasks and monitor their performance.
• Maximize warehouse space and improve the efficiency of warehouse operations.
• Monitor the condition of warehouse equipment and report issues when necessary.
• Maintain workplace cleanliness and ensure proper implementation of the 6S Program and company health and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field.
• At least 1-year of experience as an Inventory Controller or in a similar manufacturing role, preferably in the plastic industry.
• Knowledge of inventory management, stock control and warehouse operations.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule: 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Caloocan City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Pay: Php18,000.00 - Php20,000.00 per month
