Inventory Coordinator

About the role

Manage daily inventory and stock movements for machinery, equipment and spare parts. You will maintain accurate inventory records, conduct visual inspections of incoming and outgoing items, and coordinate with internal requesters, suppliers and relevant departments on orders and delivery schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily inventory and stock movements for machinery, equipment and spare parts
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock information is updated in a timely manner
• Conduct daily visual inspections of incoming and outgoing machines and spare parts
• Coordinate with internal requesters, suppliers and relevant departments on orders, confirmations and delivery schedules
• Record and monitor all stock movements, transfers, receipts and issues
• Perform regular inventory reconciliation between the in-house tracking system and physical stock
• Monitor inventory levels and movement to maintain a healthy and efficient stock level
• Conduct annual stock takes and periodic physical inventory checks accurately and efficiently
• Investigate and follow up on stock discrepancies and assist in resolving inventory-related issues
• Maintain proper documentation, records and filing for inventory and warehouse activities

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in inventory, warehouse, stock control or order management
• Good understanding of inventory management and stock movement processes
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with inventory records and data
• Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail
• Meticulous and committed to maintaining a high level of accuracy
• Proactive, resourceful and results-oriented
• Able to work independently and take initiative
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks under pressure
• Self-motivated, responsible and willing to learn
• Forklift license is an advantage; Class 3 or Class 2 driving license is preferred
