Inventory Coordinator

POSITION BRIEF: Individual reports to the GM - Operations & Line Pipe and is responsible for analyzing inventory.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Get all assigned yard inventory records each month and compare the yard inventory with the Sorian inventory record to identify differences.

• Report inventory differences to Reconciliation Group, Accounts Payable, Sales and to Yard.

• Coordinate with the yard to get differences corrected.

• Secure documentation required in reconciling differences requiring the posting to Sorian’s record.

• Post Sorian’s record; Input data into Oracle

-Shipments

-Receipts

• Condition changes

-Coating change

-End finish change

-Condition changes

• Identify and correct any differences in inventories found at any time through the month

• Assist in year-end inventory counts.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Effective oral and written communication

Excellent time management and multitasking skills

Previous inventory experience

Good computer skills

Preferred:

College degree

Oracle ERP experience

Previous tubular goods experience
