Inventory Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Coordinator to join our team. This position will support the organization through managing company inventory, ordering and receiving equipment and materials, stocking and restocking inventory, testing equipment and maintaining records as required.

Responsibilities:

• Handle and control company inventory
• Maintain adequate inventory levels, tracking inventory, stocking
• Coordinates with the Director of Procurement and the Inventory Coordinator to order equipment, materials,
• Submitting requisitions, reordering inventory/materials, supplies as needed, working with purchasing agent, etc.
• Receive and complete daily workload through the inventory/purchasing ticketing system
• Responding and communicating to internal customers through the ticket system
• Performs the shipping function for the purpose of ensuring items are sent and received in a timely manner
• Equipment/materials with warranties, returning damaged equipment, monitoring UPS for outgoing shipments, etc.
• Receives materials and equipment
• Receiving ordered equipment, unloading freight/delivery trucks, storing equipment/materials
• Maintains the warehouse and inventory yards
• Stocking and restocking inventory, stocking trucks for technicians, fiber splicers, engineers, and construction crew, etc.
• Stocks and restocks inventory areas for the purpose of ensuring sufficient
• materials/equipment/supplies exist to get the work of the company done in a timely manner
• Working with other employees to ensure necessary equipment/supplies are on hand for job completion.
• Testing equipment .

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required
• Forklift certified, required
• 2+ years progressively responsible inventory management experience, required
• 2+ years of telecommunications experience, preferred
• Associate degree in Accounting, Business Management, or Supply Chain Management, preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record

In office work schedule: Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm
