Inventory Handler

Overview

Join our warehouse distribution team as an Inventory Handler and keep products moving accurately and safely. You’ll receive, store, track, and prepare materials for shipment while supporting smooth warehouse operations. Your impact: Accurate inventory handling helps coworkers locate products quickly and helps customers receive complete, correctly prepared orders.

Duties

• Load and unload deliveries, verify shipments, and organize materials in designated storage areas.
• Use an RF (radio frequency) scanner to update inventory records and support inventory management.
• Pick and stage orders using an order picker, pallet jack, forklift, clamp truck, or crane, as authorized.
• Operate material handling equipment and other heavy equipment according to training and site procedures.
• Follow safety protocols during shipping and receiving, materials handling, manual handling, and heavy lifting.

Requirements

• Warehouse experience and familiarity with warehouse operations, order picking, and shipping and receiving are preferred.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail to check quantities, labels, and inventory records.
• Ability to perform manual handling and heavy lifting safely, with consistent adherence to safety protocols.
• Experience operating a forklift, pallet jack, order picker, clamp truck, crane, or other material handling equipment is preferred; equipment use must follow applicable training and authorization requirements.
• Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidance is helpful. Warehouse supervisor experience is a plus.

Pay: From $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 46.0 per week
