INVENTORY / LOGISTICS STAFF

The Inventory / Logistics Staff is responsible for the accurate monitoring, control, and movement of frozen meat products (chicken, pork, beef) from receiving to storage and dispatch. The position ensures proper inventory levels, cold chain compliance, timely deliveries, and accurate documentation in accordance with company policies and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management

• Monitor daily inventory of frozen meat products in cold storage and warehouse.
• Ensure accurate recording of incoming and outgoing stocks (FIFO / FEFO).
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile variances.
• Maintain proper labeling, batch numbers, expiration dates, and storage conditions.
• Coordinate with sales regarding stock availability and reorder levels.

Logistics & Dispatch

• Prepare and verify delivery schedules based on sales orders.
• Coordinate with drivers, helpers, and third-party logistics providers.
• Ensure proper handling and temperature control during loading and transport.
• Check delivery documents such as Delivery Receipts, Invoices, and Pull-Out Slips.
• Monitor returned items, shortages, and damaged goods and report accordingly.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and logistics reports.
• Maintain updated inventory records and system entries (manual or digital).
• Report discrepancies, spoilage, expired items, or operational issues immediately.
• Assist in audits, inspections, and compliance requirements (FDA / LGU / internal audits).

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and cold chain standards.
• Enforce proper warehouse housekeeping and safety procedures.
• Follow company policies on inventory control, loss prevention, and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or any related field (preferred).
• At least 1–2 years of experience in inventory control including logistics, preferably in food, meat, or cold storage operations.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and cold chain management is a plus.
• Ability to work in cold storage environments.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
