Optimizes inventory control procedures

Examine the levels of materials and supplies to determine shortages

Documents daily shipments and deliveries to replenish inventory

Creates detailed reports for adjustments, inventory operations and stock levels (counting,cycle counting,audit counting) physical and systems counts are the same

Transacts the transfers and receipts

Evaluates new inventory and ensures it s ready to ship

Orders new supplies avoiding excessive surplus or inefficiencies (not for US)

Analyzes various suppliers to ensure the company is receiving the best cost-effective deals

Holds experience and knowledge in standard concepts, practices and procedures within two or more of the relevant fields

Relies on instructions, pre-established guidelines or on limited experience and judgement to plan and accomplish the functions and goals of the job

Monitors inventory level to ensure quantity is available

Prepares purchase orders and places orders from the list of screened venders

Reviews scheduled deliveries

Handles basic issues and problems

Possesses basic mathematical

Works under general supervision

Reports typically to a supervisor or manager
