Inventory Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Inventory Manager to manage and control the company’s stock and warehouse operations. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, ensuring proper placement and visibility of inventory, preventing overstocking or stock shortages, and minimizing damage or wastage within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

⁠ ⁠Maintain proper stock placement and organization so that inventory is easily visible, accessible, and identifiable at any point in time.
⁠ ⁠Monitor the status and movement of stock and conduct regular physical stock surveys/audits.
⁠ ⁠Maintain accurate records of stock availability, reservations, inward and outward movements.
⁠ ⁠Identify and take necessary corrective actions to avoid overstocking, understocking, dead stock, and stock liquidation.
⁠ ⁠Ensure proper placement, storage, and utilization of warehouse space.
⁠ ⁠Monitor stock levels and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure optimum inventory levels.
⁠ ⁠Ensure proper handling and movement of materials to prevent damage, breakage, deterioration, or loss of stock.
⁠ ⁠Maintain systematic warehouse arrangements and ensure maximum utilization of available storage space.
⁠ ⁠Reconcile physical stock with system stock and immediately highlight discrepancies.
⁠ ⁠Ensure that stock movement is properly recorded and updated in the inventory management system.
⁠ ⁠Prepare regular inventory reports, stock statements, and MIS reports.
⁠ ⁠Monitor ageing and slow-moving inventory and take appropriate action to control inventory blockage.
⁠ ⁠Coordinate with purchase, production, sales, and other relevant teams for smooth inventory management.
⁠ ⁠Ensure compliance with company procedures and inventory control policies.

Required Skills

⁠ ⁠Good knowledge of MS Excel – Mandatory
⁠ ⁠Strong inventory and stock management skills.
⁠ ⁠SAP knowledge – Mandatory / should be comfortable working in SAP B1/WMS software
⁠ ⁠Good understanding of warehouse and inventory management processes.
⁠ ⁠Ability to reconcile physical stock with system stock.
⁠ ⁠Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
⁠ ⁠Good knowledge of stock movement, stock ageing, inventory control, and warehouse organization.
⁠ ⁠Good communication and coordination skills.
⁠ ⁠Ability to manage warehouse operations and maintain proper documentation.

Preferred Candidate Profile

⁠ ⁠2–3 years of relevant experience in Inventory Management / Warehouse Management / Stock Management.
⁠ ⁠Experience in maintaining physical as well as system-based inventory records.
⁠ ⁠Hands-on experience with MS Excel.
⁠ ⁠Should be capable of independently handling day-to-day inventory and stock control activities.Regards

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
