Inventory Manager

On-Site - Omaha, NE | Full-Time | Hourly, Non-Exempt | Reports to: Director of Warehouse Operations

POSITION OVERVIEW

Bianchi Candle Brands LLC is a growing candle manufacturing company in Omaha, Nebraska. As our production volume and inbound material flow continue to increase, we are adding an Inventory Manager to own the accuracy, organization, and tracking of all inventory across our facility.

The Inventory Manager will work closely with our Shipping & Receiving, Production, and Sourcing teams to ensure that raw materials, packaging, and finished goods are accurately tracked, counted, and recorded in real time. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role that requires someone who thrives on accuracy, organization, and follow-through.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Inventory Tracking & Accuracy

  • Maintain accurate real-time inventory counts for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods across all facility locations
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventory counts — identify and reconcile variances promptly
  • Ensure all inventory transactions are entered accurately and timely in Cin7 (our inventory management system)
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies — work with the team to determine root cause and prevent recurrence
  • Maintain organized, clearly labeled inventory locations throughout the warehouse

Inbound Receiving Support

  • Coordinate with Shipping & Receiving team on all inbound material receipts
  • Verify inbound shipments against purchase orders — confirm quantities, condition, and item accuracy
  • Process all inbound inventory receipts into Cin7 promptly and accurately
  • Flag and document any receiving discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the appropriate team

Inventory Reporting & Communication

  • Provide team with regular inventory status updates — on-hand levels, low stock alerts, and variance summaries
  • Track raw material availability and communicate proactively with sourcing and production teams on potential shortages
  • Maintain inventory records and documentation in an organized, accessible format
  • Support month-end and quarter-end inventory reporting as needed

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work alongside the Shipping & Receiving Manager to ensure inventory accuracy aligns with inbound and outbound activity
  • Coordinate with the Production team on raw material pull requests and finished goods movement
  • Partner with the Sourcing team to align on inbound material schedules and expected volumes
  • Participate in weekly operations meetings and flag inventory-related risks or issues

Facility & Organization

  • Keep all inventory storage areas organized, clean, and properly labeled
  • Identify and recommend improvements to inventory storage layout and workflow
  • Support the development and documentation of inventory management SOPs

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • 1+ years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or a related role
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
  • Basic computer skills — able to learn and navigate inventory management software (Cin7)
  • Reliable, organized, and a strong communicator

Preferred

  • Experience with Cin7 or a similar inventory/ERP system
  • Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Background in manufacturing, CPG, or product-based warehouse environments
  • Experience conducting cycle counts and physical inventory audits

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

  • Hourly rate: based on experience
  • Full-time, Monday through Friday — standard warehouse hours 8 - 5
  • On-site at our Omaha, NE facility
