INVENTORY MANAGER

Sweet Tooth is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Manager to oversee stock management, monitor inventory levels, maintain accurate records, and ensure the timely availability of raw materials, ingredients, packaging materials, and finished products.

The ideal candidate must be reliable, analytical, and capable of minimizing stock losses while ensuring efficient inventory control.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing stock.
• Track inventory levels and ensure adequate stock availability.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Monitor raw materials, ingredients, packaging supplies, and finished products.
• Prepare inventory reports and update stock records regularly.
• Identify damaged, expired, missing, or slow-moving items and report them promptly.
• Coordinate with the production and operations teams to forecast stock requirements.
• Monitor stock usage, wastage, and losses, and recommend ways to reduce them.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, handling, and organization of inventory.
• Assist with purchasing and replenishment requests to prevent stock shortages.
• Maintain accurate documentation of stock transfers, receipts, and dispatches.
• Ensure compliance with food storage, hygiene, and safety standards.

Requirements

• OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Previous experience in inventory management, stock control, warehousing, or a similar role.
• Experience in a bakery, confectionery, food production, FMCG, or retail environment is an advantage.
• Good numerical, analytical, and record-keeping skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic inventory management tools.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to identify discrepancies and resolve stock-related issues.
• Honesty, accountability, and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
