Inventory Planner

Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods to ensure sufficient stock availability.
• Prepare inventory plans and replenishment schedules based on production requirements, sales forecasts, and stock levels.
• Analyze inventory movement, consumption, and turnover to identify slow-moving, excess, and critical stocks.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, Production, and Sales departments regarding material availability and inventory requirements.
• Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and recommend timely replenishment.
• Prepare and maintain inventory reports, stock status reports, and inventory forecasts.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing materials and investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Ensure accurate and updated inventory records in the company's inventory system.
• Assist in inventory counts, stock reconciliation, and investigation of variances.
• Recommend improvements in inventory control, stock utilization, and inventory planning processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, inventory control procedures, and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or any related course.
• At least 1 year of experience in inventory planning, inventory control, material planning, or a related field, preferably in a manufacturing company.
• Knowledgeable in inventory management, stock monitoring, and replenishment planning.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other inventory management systems or ERP software.
• With analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Detail-oriented, trustworthy, and responsible.
• A team player who can work independently and handle multiple tasks.
• Willing to work in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and inventory forecasting.
• Understanding of production planning and warehouse operations.
• Ability to analyze inventory data and prepare accurate reports.
