Inventory Returns Clerk

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Inventory Returns Clerk to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this vital role, you will manage the processing of returned goods, ensuring accurate documentation and seamless integration into our inventory system. Your efforts will directly support efficient warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect returned items, verifying condition and documentation accuracy
• Record return transactions accurately using inventory management software and ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms
• Process returned goods through the warehouse management system, updating stock levels accordingly
• Coordinate with shipping & receiving teams to ensure proper handling, packaging, and restocking of returned items
• Utilize RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and order pickers to move products efficiently within the warehouse
• Ensure compliance with trade regulations and international trade standards during the returns process
• Maintain detailed records of all returns, shipments, and inventory adjustments for audit purposes

Skills

• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, and inventory management software
• Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, order fulfillment, and warehouse operations
• Experience with shipping & receiving procedures, including packing and order picking
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and documentation
• Skilled in data entry, using RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively
• Excellent customer service skills to handle return inquiries professionally
• Familiarity with international trade regulations and trade compliance standards
• Competence in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and correspondence
• Prior warehouse experience with a focus on stock management, order picker operation, and load & unload tasks
