Inventory Staff

About the role

Maintain accurate inventory records in the inventory management system. Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials, supplies, or merchandise. Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies. Track and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations. Ensure proper labeling, storage, and rotation of items. Verify outgoing items and ensure correct quantities for dispatch or production.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records in the inventory management system
• Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials, supplies, or merchandise
• Conduct regular physical stock counts (daily/weekly/monthly) and reconcile discrepancies
• Track and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations
• Prepare and update inventory reports for supervisors and management
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and rotation of items (FIFO/LIFO as applicable)
• Assist in organizing the warehouse and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
• Coordinate with the purchasing and logistics departments regarding stock needs
• Verify outgoing items and ensure correct quantities for dispatch or production
• Investigate and report damaged, missing, or expired items

About you

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy, Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent
• 1 year work experience in the same capacity in the Hospitality Industry
• Excellent leadership skills and communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Service-oriented with an eye for details
• Can start immediately
