Inventory Staff

About the role

The Inventory Staff is responsible for ensuring accurate recording, monitoring, and control of all incoming and outgoing materials. This role supports smooth operations by maintaining proper stock levels, preventing shortages or overstocking, and ensuring inventory records match actual physical counts.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts
• Reconcile physical inventory with system records and investigate discrepancies
• Prepare inventory reports and submit them to management
• Issue materials and supplies according to approved requests
• Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory items
• Monitor stock expiration dates and damaged items
• Assist in stock transfers and inventory audits
• Maintain inventory documents, logbooks, and filing systems
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and inventory control standards
