Inventory Technician

Dagmar Cannabis is seeking an experienced, organized, and detail-oriented Inventory Technician to manage product ordering, receiving, inventory intake, and product activation across our three New York City retail dispensary locations.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Dutchie Back Office and Metrc, a strong understanding of New York State cannabis regulations, and the ability to coordinate effectively with store management and vendors.

This position plays an essential role in maintaining accurate inventory, ensuring timely product replenishment, and keeping products available for retail sale.

Key Responsibilities

Product Ordering & Replenishment

• Coordinate with store managers to identify inventory needs across all three locations.
• Place product orders with licensed cannabis vendors and distributors.
• Monitor inventory levels and sales trends to help maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Track purchase orders, expected deliveries, and outstanding shipments.
• Communicate with vendors regarding product availability, deliveries, and order discrepancies.
• Work with management to prevent stock shortages and unnecessary overstocking.

Inventory Receiving & Product Activation

• Receive and verify incoming cannabis product deliveries against purchase orders and manifests.
• Process incoming inventory accurately using Dutchie Back Office and Metrc.
• Coordinate with store managers to ensure timely intake and product activation.
• Ensure products are properly entered, categorized, and made live for sale in Dutchie.
• Verify product quantities, package information, and compliance documentation.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory, manifests, Dutchie, and Metrc.

Inventory Accuracy & Compliance

• Maintain accurate inventory records across all three dispensary locations.
• Assist with inventory reconciliation and discrepancy resolution.
• Ensure inventory processes comply with New York State Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) requirements.
• Communicate inventory issues and updates to store management.
• Maintain organized records of product orders, deliveries, and inventory adjustments.

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in Dutchie Back Office is required.
• Proficiency in Metrc for licensed cannabis retail dispensaries is required.
• Previous experience in cannabis retail inventory management, purchasing, or receiving.
• Familiarity with cannabis product ordering and vendor coordination.
• Understanding of New York State cannabis inventory compliance requirements.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with management across multiple locations.
• Ability to travel between three NYC dispensary locations as needed.

Compensation

Starting at $26.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
