About the Role

Join a leading mid-cap private equity fund in Munich, focusing on growth investments and buyouts in DACH and wider European region companies. You'll drive deal sourcing, execution, and portfolio management for high-growth sectors like industrials, consumer, healthcare, and technology, leveraging Munich's tech and manufacturing ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Source proprietary deals through networking, industry events, and direct outreach to mid-cap entrepreneurs.
• Execute due diligence: financial modeling (LBO, DCF), commercial analysis, and operational assessments.
• Prepare investment memos, lead negotiations, and structure transactions (e.g., leveraged buyouts, growth equity).
• Collaborate with co-investors, advisors, and management teams on 5-10 active deals annually.

Qualifications and Skills

• 1-5 years in private equity, Tier-1 investment banking, elite boutique, or strategy consulting (MBB).
• Bachelor's/Master's in Finance, Business, or Economics; CFA progress desirable.
• Strong Excel modeling; experience with DealEdge, PitchBook, or S&P Capital IQ.
• Fluency in German and English and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Proven skills in financial modeling and commercial due diligence (or fast learner potential).
