Investment Banking Associate - Tech

A specialist global Tech boutique is looking to add an Associate to its US M&A team. The firm operates exclusively within technology and has built a strong reputation as the go-to advisor for founder-owned and PE-backed businesses in this space.

You will get real execution ownership, direct client exposure, and a close working relationship with senior leadership. The team is lean and the culture is entrepreneurial. This suits someone who wants hands-on responsibility rather than another layer of process support.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting M&A processes across sell-side, buy-side, and recapitalisation mandates
• Acting as a day-to-day point of contact for clients through live transactions
• Building financial analysis, valuation work, and deal materials
• Supporting buyer/investor engagement from first contact through to close
• Contributing to new business development and pitch materials alongside senior bankers
• Mentoring analysts where relevant

Requirements:

• 2-5 years in M&A advisory
• Strong transaction execution track record with growing autonomy over time
• Experience in or strong interest in technology, IT consulting, software, or professional services M&A
• Polished communicator, comfortable with founders, management teams, and boards
