The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is looking for an experienced Investment Officer to manage a portfolio of debt and guarantee investments across sectors including infrastructure, energy, agribusiness, and social sector.

You will work directly with clients, assess emerging risks, support key financing decisions, lead disbursements, and help ensure that investments deliver both strong business performance and meaningful development impact.

In this role, you will

·       Analyze financial data, prepare periodic credit monitoring reports, and propose appropriate risk ratings for each project.

·       Work on current and forward looking risk factors, and design and implement remedial measures.

·       Review proposed waivers and amendments, and recommend appropriate courses of action.

·       Ensure client adherence to their periodic reporting obligations and monitor compliance with the terms of finance documents.

·       Support client-relationship management, and plan and participate in meetings and business trips.

·       Lead processing of disbursement requests.

·       Lead and ensure completeness and maintenance of databases for legal, financial, and security documents, throughout the project life cycle.

·       Monitor development effectiveness, and environmental and social management compliance, coordinating closely with internal specialists.

We are looking for someone who has

• At least 8 years of experience in corporate finance, project finance, credit, or portfolio management.
• Deep understanding of credit risk and mitigators, and finance and business principles.
• Strong client management skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Thai. Ability to draft clear, concise, well‑structured reports in English
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and turn complex information into clear recommendations.
• Experience with large Thai energy-sector clients—an advantage.
