About the Role

We operate with a lean and dynamic team structure. The successful candidate will work closely with the investment, client servicing and operations teams, with direct involvement in investment transactions and day-to-day operational matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day investment operations and coordinate the execution and follow-up of various investment transactions
• Handle client onboarding, KYC / AML documentation and ongoing investor maintenance
• Process subscriptions, redemptions, transfers and related transaction documentation for funds and other investment products
• Liaise and coordinate with private banks, fund managers, fund administrators, custodians and other external service providers
• Follow up on operational and settlement matters relating to alternative investments, transactions, and structured products
• Maintain transaction records, investment documentation and internal operational processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Assist in preparing client materials, portfolio information and periodic reports
• Work closely with the investment and client teams to ensure transactions and operational matters are completed accurately and within required timelines
• Support other investment, operational and compliance-related projects as required

Requirements

• Relevant operations experience in asset management, fund management, private banking, securities firms, family offices or other financial institutions
• Good understanding of mainstream investment products and related transaction workflows
• Hands-on experience in KYC / AML, account opening, fund subscriptions and redemptions is preferred
• Meticulous and detail-oriented, with a high degree of accuracy when handling numbers and documentation
• Proactive, responsible and possess strong follow-up and execution skills
• Able to manage multiple tasks independently and take ownership of matters through to completion
• Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple transactions and deadlines simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Good written and spoken English and Chinese; fluency in Mandarin is preferred
• Experience working with private banks, fund administrators or alternative investment managers will be an advantage
