The Opportunity

This role combines investment development and execution with capital formation. Working directly with the firm’s leadership, you will help develop investment opportunities, build investor relationships and secure capital for our strategies.

The role calls for someone who can understand an investment, articulate a convincing case and carry a commercial process through engagement, negotiation and completion.

We seek a professional ready to take ownership, exercise independent judgment and contribute to building an enduring investment institution.

Key Responsibilities

• Investment development: Work with the leadership team to identify opportunities, develop investment propositions and advance the firm’s strategies.
• Capital formation: Build investor relationships, initiate and lead engagement, and carry capital commitments through to funding.
• Commercial execution : Contribute to investment structuring and negotiations, coordinate counterparties and take agreed work through to completion.
• Investment communication : Present investment cases clearly and persuasively, explaining the economics, structures and risks with support from the investment team.
• Firm representation : Represent Blacswan and its investment products in meetings, presentations, events and on-camera communications.
• Market development : Work with the marketing team on content and campaigns that build understanding, generate qualified investor engagement and advance prospective investors towards commitment.

What We Look For

• Evidence of developing relationships, earning trust and closing commercial opportunities.
• Relevant experience in investment management, banking, corporate finance, financial services or business development.
• Financial fluency and the ability to explain an investment with clarity and conviction.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English and Mongolian, with confidence in presentations and public-facing settings.
• Initiative, persistence and the discipline to follow through.
• Professional integrity, independent judgment and accountability for outcomes.

Relevant academic and professional qualifications are valued alongside demonstrated capability.
