Invoice and Billing Mgr - L5

For our client, we are seeking a Invoice and Billing Mgr - L5 to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.

This role will oversee invoice generation and billing execution while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across a complex business environment. The position will align billing operations with financial priorities, resolve disputes, and serve as a key escalation point for invoice issues and inquiries. It will also partner with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve processes, strengthen governance, and support team development.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $137,100 – $254,700 annually

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure accurate invoice generation and billing execution for the business area
• Define and execute operational strategy aligning billing with financial priorities
• Monitor invoice processes to meet deadlines and resolve disputes
• Act as the primary escalation point for invoice rejections and inquiries
• Analyze billing data to identify issues and improve processes
• Enforce compliance with billing standards and governance frameworks
• Lead team development initiatives and promote continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Strong skills in analytical problem-solving, accounting (US GAAP), and financial analysis
• Demonstrated ability to lead and build high-performing teams in fast-paced environments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presenting to senior leadership
• Proven experience managing priorities and dependencies in complex environments
• Experience with large-scale financial system migrations
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
