Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Invoice / Accounting professional to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing accounts and ensuring accurate data entry. Your expertise in accounting software, financial systems, and client communication will be vital in supporting our company's financial health. Duties

• Process and verify invoices, billing statements, and journal entries using accounting software.
• Manage accounts including collections account management and client communication.
• Reconcile accounts through detailed analysis of spreadsheets and financial data using Excel formulas and data analysis techniques.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and SOX controls during all accounting procedures.
• Generate reports on financial status, aging reports for receivables, and other relevant documentation for management review.
• Support month-end closing activities by preparing necessary documentation and performing account analysis.
• Maintain professional communication with clients regarding billing inquiries or collection issues via phone or email while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in accounting or finance roles with a strong understanding of accounting concepts such as debits & credits, journal entries, and double entry bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent skills in Excel data analysis, spreadsheets creation, formulas application, and report generation.
• Experience managing collections accounts and performing account reconciliation tasks effectively.
• Ability to handle high-volume data entry accurately while maintaining attention to detail.
• Exceptional customer service skills combined with effective negotiation abilities for client communication.
• Familiarity with billing software, technical accounting practices, and analysis skills are essential.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good math aptitude along with solid phone etiquette to professionally handle inquiries related to invoices or account issues.
• College Degree preferred

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
