The opportunity

We’re looking for an Inwards Goods Assistant who enjoys being hands-on and thrives in a busy environment. You’ll help ensure all incoming parts and supplies are received, checked, and put away correctly, supporting the smooth flow of production across the factory.

What you’ll do

• Assist with checking, receipting and accurately recording inwards goods movements into our ERP.
• Help with quality inspections to confirm parts meet specification.
• Return incorrect, damaged or faulty products to suppliers when required.
• Transfer parts to correct locations and keep stores tidy and organised.
• Support unloading of trucks and liaising with drivers.
• Provide backup to Dispatch and Materials Handling teams when needed.

What you’ll bring

• Strong attention to detail and a methodical, process‑driven approach.
• Good computer literacy and admin skills.
• A reliable, adaptable attitude—happy to pitch in and handle multiple tasks.
• Previous exposure to an inwards goods, stores or warehousing environment (preferred but not essential).
• Forklift licence is an advantage (training provided if not held).
