About The Role The field app lives in the truck, so it has to work offline, sync when it can and put up with bad signal. You'd spend real time with technicians and ship to a small device fleet every week.

Responsibilities

• Own the iOS field app end to end: sync, UI and crash budget.
• Design the optimistic write path against a queue that resolves on reconnect.
• Instrument battery, network and rendering on real devices.
• Ride along with technicians at least once a quarter.

Basic Qualifications

• 4+ years shipping production iOS apps in Swift.
• Experience with Core Data, GRDB or an equivalent on-device store.
• Comfort with networking, retries and conflict resolution.
• Willingness to travel quarterly for field work.

Preferred Skills And Experience

• Built or maintained an offline-first product at scale.
• Experience with SwiftUI in production.
• Worked on tools used by non-office staff (drivers, technicians).
• Comfort reading TypeScript to debug an API contract.
