iOS Software Engineer, Consumer Engineering

For our client, we are seeking a iOS Software Engineer, Consumer Engineering to join the team of a leader in the Media space.

This role will focus on building and improving consumer-facing iOS experiences that help users discover, engage with, and interact with content. You will own work from early product definition through post-launch optimization, partnering closely with product, design, and engineering stakeholders. The position also plays an important role in strengthening mobile architecture, performance, and development practices across the team.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $164,000 – $229,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance user-facing iOS experiences for content discovery and engagement.
• Lead projects from product definition through ongoing improvement after launch.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical capabilities with user needs.
• Improve iOS architecture and performance while mentoring team members.
• Drive technical initiatives that strengthen developer workflows and engineering standards.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in iOS development with a focus on consumer-facing applications.
• Proficiency in Swift and familiarity with iOS frameworks and application architecture.
• Strong debugging, performance optimization, and maintainability skills.
• Experience with mobile system design and evaluating architectural tradeoffs.
• Familiarity with analytics, experimentation, and ML-integrated products is a plus.
