Key Responsibilities

• Bill Generation & Verification: Prepare and verify inpatient bills, including room rent, doctor visits, diagnostic tests, procedures, and pharmacy consumables.

• Real-Time Posting: Ensure accurate and timely entry of services and charges into the hospital management software (HMS / PMS).

• Insurance & TPA Management: Coordinate with Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) and the insurance desk for pre-authorizations, cashless approvals, and claim documentation.

• Discharge Clearance: Monitor advance payments, reconcile interim bills, and assist in smooth, fast discharge clearances.

• Query & Dispute Resolution: Handle billing inquiries from patients and their families, resolve discrepancies, and process refunds or adjustments when needed.

• Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly billing and collection summaries for hospital management

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Any Graduate
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in hospital IPD billing, accounts, or front-office revenue cycles.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Hospital Management Software (HMS), electronic medical billing systems, and MS Excel.
• Knowledge: Understanding of TPA/insurance claim workflows, medical terminology, and basic accounting.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, patience under pressure, and attention to detail.
