IP Network Engineer (IPRAN)

General Description of Duties and Responsibilities:

• Works as Network Engineer in Huawei IPRAN team for project implementation, responsible for IPRAN network activities such as integration, cutover, expansion, etc.
• Handle network activities on day-time and/or night-time as required (average 2 - 3 nights per week).
• Collaborate with internal and external parties including project management team, subcontractors and customers to complete work assignments.
• Prepare technical documents such as MOP (Method of Procedure), WI (Work Instruction), etc.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems occurred during network implementation activities.
• Comply with Huawei internal processes to ensure safety and security of Huawei and customer networks.

Candidate Requirements:

• At least Bachelors Degree in telecommunication engineering, computer engineering or related IT fields.
• Good knowledge of Data communication including TCP/IP, Routing & Switching, VLAN, MPLS, etc.
• Working experience on IP network implementation or operation/maintenance in service provider networks or enterprise networks is a plus
• Working experience with Huawei routers e.g. ATN, CX600, NE series or carrier-graded routers of other vendors is a plus
• Positive and open-minded attitude, able to work well in multi-cultural dynamic environment.
• Being proactive, achievement-oriented, strong sense of responsibility.
• Fast learning ability, highly adaptable to Huawei’s fast-paced environment.
• Good English communication.
• Able to work upcountry, flexible for relocation and job rotation.
• Able to work overtime and on weekends/public holidays
