IPAF Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified IPAF Operator to join our team completing post construction cleaning work for our client in Cardiff

The successful candidate will not only operate the MEWP but will assist our team with cleaning tasks while elevated.

Anticipated start date of Monday 16th November

Duties

• Operate IPAF-approved mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) in accordance with manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines
• Conduct pre-operation safety checks on equipment before use
• Assist in setting up and dismantling work platforms at various heights and locations
• Ensure all operations are performed in compliance with health and safety standards
• Collaborate with ground staff to coordinate movement and positioning of equipment
• Maintain accurate records of daily inspections, usage, and maintenance needs
• Report any faults or issues with equipment promptly to the supervisor
• Adhere to all site-specific safety procedures and protocols

Requirements

• Valid IPAF certification with current licence (Cat 3a)
• Valid CSCS Card
• Proven experience operating mobile elevating work platforms in a construction or industrial environment
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to working at heights
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit, with the ability to perform manual tasks when required
• Willingness to undertake ongoing training and development as necessary

This role is vital for ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operation of elevated work platforms across various project sites. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, a proactive approach to safety, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Pay: £200.00 per day
