IPQC (In Process Quality Controller)

Job Summary

The In-Process Quality Controller is responsible for monitoring and ensuring product quality during the production process. This role ensures that all products meet company standards, customer requirements, and regulatory compliance before moving to the next stage.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform in-process inspections at various stages of production
• Ensure products comply with quality standards, specifications, and drawings
• Conduct first article inspection (FAI) and patrol inspections
• Record inspection results and maintain proper quality documentation
• Identify defects, non-conformities, and report issues to supervisors
• Work closely with production team to improve quality and reduce defects
• Ensure proper use of measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers)
• Monitor process parameters and ensure adherence to SOPs
• Assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
• Ensure workplace follows safety and quality procedures

Skills & Competencies

• Strong observation and analytical skills
• Good communication and teamwork
• Basic computer skills (Excel, reporting)
• Knowledge of ISO standards (advantage)

Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum SPM / Diploma in Quality, Engineering, or related field
• At least 1–3 years experience in manufacturing / QC environment (preferred)
• Basic knowledge of quality control processes and tools
• Able to read technical drawings and specifications
• Familiar with measuring instruments
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Able to work in off day and PH (if required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
