IPQC/OQC Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented IPQC/OQC Engineer to lead our Incoming and Outgoing Quality Control team in ensuring that finished products meet customer specifications, quality standards, and company requirements before shipment. The role will oversee inspection activities, manage quality concerns, and drive continuous improvement in outgoing product quality.

What you'll be doing

• Supervise and lead the OQC team in conducting final inspections of finished products before dispatch.
• Develop and implement outgoing quality standards, inspection criteria, and procedures.
• Ensure all outgoing products comply with customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Review and approve inspection reports, test results, and outgoing quality documentation.
• Identify, document, and segregate defective or non-conforming products prior to shipment.
• Analyze outgoing quality data and prepare reports to identify trends, recurring issues, and improvement opportunities.
• Handle customer quality complaints and coordinate corrective and preventive actions with relevant departments.
• Train and develop OQC personnel on inspection methods, procedures, and quality standards.
• Support internal and external audits related to final product quality.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve outgoing quality and reduce defects.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in quality control, preferably in final product inspection or Incoming / Outgoing Quality Control (OQC).
• Experience in leading quality inspection teams.
• Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001, GMP, or applicable industry standards.
• Familiarity with customer quality requirements and quality complaint handling.
• Experience in corrective and preventive action (CAPA) and continuous improvement is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of inspection methods and quality control processes.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to analyze quality data and prepare meaningful reports.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and documentation.
