IQC Engineer

Position: Incoming Quality Control Engineer (IQC Engineer)
Department: Quality Department
Location: Bluechips Microhouse Co., Ltd., Chiang Mai

Responsibilities

• Perform Incoming Inspection and maintain proper records in accordance with BCM MSP standards.
• Conduct required measurements based on technical drawings and product specifications.
• Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications through visual and dimensional inspections, and reject or return non-conforming materials.
• Ensure measurement equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and operated according to standard work instructions.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal departments and suppliers regarding quality issues.
• Communicate with overseas suppliers on material quality concerns, corrective actions, and follow-ups.
• Participate in MRB (Material Review Board) activities and follow up on non-conforming material issues.
• Support the Supplier Selection Team in new supplier audits, PPAP reviews, and qualification processes.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product and process quality.
• Manage sorting and quarantining of suspected or non-conforming materials to prevent their use in production.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Department Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably in Electronics, Industrial, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of basic electronic components and circuitry.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing or PCB Assembly industry is an advantage.
• Good understanding of inspection methods, measuring instruments, and quality management systems such as ISO 9001 or IATF 16949.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate effectively with overseas suppliers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with ERP or quality management systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Able to work independently and perform effectively under pressure.
