IRATA Rope Access Technician

Position Summary Tacten is currently recruiting IRATA Technicians (all Levels) to support upcoming projects in the Atlantic Region, specifically in Halifax/Dartmouth, Nova Scotia .

Project Details:

• Project-based work
• Work located in Halifax/Dartmouth, NS
• Candidates must be local to the Halifax/Dartmouth area or surrounding region.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks at height
• Proficient in using various tools and techniques while suspended on ropes
• Assisting with rescue services when required
• Work within a composite crew and assist Journeyman with various tasks
• Coordinate with other personnel on the job site to ensure a safe working environment for themselves and others

Requirements Certifications & Qualifications

• IRATA Level 1, 2 or 3 Certification
• Skilled Labourer Ticket considered an asset
• Safety certifications as required by client and provincial standards
