We're Hiring: Institutional Review Board (IRB) Manager - Memorial Healthcare System | South Florida

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking an experienced Institutional Review Board (IRB) Manager to oversee IRB operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and support the ethical conduct of human subjects research.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet all of the following requirements:

• Education: Master's degree in a research- or science-related field.
• Certification: Active Certified IRB Professional (CIP) certification, required at the time of hire.
• Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience working in an IRB office OR reviewing human subjects research for regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily IRB operations and ensure timely review of research submissions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional human subjects research regulations.
• Review research protocols, amendments, continuing reviews, and reportable events.
• Coordinate IRB meetings, agendas, documentation, and regulatory correspondence.
• Provide regulatory guidance and training to investigators, research staff, and IRB members.
• Maintain and improve electronic IRB systems, processes, and workflows.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and support to IRB office staff.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a professional with strong knowledge of human subjects research regulations, experience managing IRB review processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with investigators, research teams, and institutional leadership.
