Iron Worker, Metal building construction

We are looking for an experienced Iron Worker Lead and a two-person crew to manage the on-site erection of two metal buildings. This position offers competitive hourly pay, a completion bonus, and the potential for long-term, full-time employment for a skilled welder and fabricator with proven expertise in metal building construction.

Responsibilities and Experience

• Erect and assemble steel frameworks and metal building components according to detailed blueprints and schematics
• Operate power tools, heavy equipment, and hand tools safely to facilitate construction tasks
• Read and interpret technical drawings, construction plans, and schematics to ensure accurate assembly
• Conduct dimensional measurements using tape measures and other tools to maintain precision in framing and installation
• Collaborate with construction management teams to coordinate site activities, adhere to safety protocols, and meet project deadlines
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining focus on quality standards
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for accurate construction work

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
