Sukoon Agricultural Services is a growing Abu Dhabi–based garden maintenance and agricultural services company. We design, build, and maintain gardens, landscapes, and farms across the emirate. With strong and growing client demand for water-efficient systems, we're hiring an Irrigation Engineer to own the design, installation, and optimization of our irrigation projects.

Role Summary

You will lead irrigation across the full lifecycle — surveying sites, designing systems, supervising installation, commissioning smart controllers, and troubleshooting existing setups. This is a hands-on, field-based role suited to someone who can move from a design on paper to a working system in the ground and stand behind its performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Survey sites and design efficient drip and sprinkler irrigation systems for gardens, landscapes, and farms
• Prepare irrigation layouts, hydraulic calculations, and material/BOQ takeoffs
• Supervise and quality-check installation by field crews
• Install, program, and commission smart controllers and flow monitoring (e.g. Hunter Hydrawise, flow meters)
• Diagnose and repair faults in existing irrigation systems and optimize water usage
• Advise clients on water efficiency, scheduling, and system upgrades
• Maintain accurate as-built records, schedules, and maintenance logs
• Support quotations with accurate scope, materials, and labor estimates

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Agricultural, Civil, Mechanical, or Irrigation Engineering (or related field)
• Minimum 4 years of irrigation design and installation experience, with UAE or GCC experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of drip and sprinkler systems, hydraulics, and water-efficient design
• Hands-on experience with smart irrigation controllers and flow monitoring
• Ability to read/produce site layouts and irrigation drawings
• Valid UAE driving license
• Willing to work on-site across Abu Dhabi in field conditions

Preferred

• Experience with landscape and agricultural/farm irrigation at scale
• Familiarity with Hunter, Rain Bird, or similar systems
• Arabic and English proficiency
• Knowledge of UAE water regulations and municipality requirements

Pay: AED2,670.86 - AED7,000.00 per month
