A Landscape Company is searching for an active Irrigation Engineer to join its team.

Job Description:

• Design and develop irrigation systems, including drip, sprinkler, misting, and other irrigation methods.
• Prepare irrigation layouts, hydraulic calculations, equipment schedules, BOQs, and technical specifications.
• Review irrigation drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents.
• Select appropriate pumps, pipes, valves, sprinklers, controllers, filters, and other irrigation equipment.
• Conduct site inspections and surveys to determine irrigation requirements and site conditions.
• Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of irrigation systems.
• Monitor contractors and subcontractors to ensure work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and schedules.
• Coordinate irrigation works with landscaping, civil, electrical, MEP, and other project teams.
• Troubleshoot irrigation system failures, pressure issues, leaks, blockages, and control-system problems.
• Develop preventive and corrective maintenance plans for irrigation systems.
• Optimize water consumption through efficient system design, scheduling, automation, and water-management practices.
• Ensure proper operation and programming of irrigation controllers and automated systems.
• Inspect completed works and prepare snag lists, inspection reports, and completion documentation.
• Maintain records of irrigation assets, maintenance activities, water consumption, and system performance.
• Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, environmental, and engineering standards.
• Provide technical support and recommendations to management regarding irrigation improvements and system upgrades.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Irrigation with minimum 3 years of experience in Landscape Irrigation & Maintenance.
• Good knowledge of irrigation networks, pumps, filters, controllers, tanks and troubleshooting skills for irrigation pressure, flow rate, control system issues and ability to read irrigation layouts, as built drawings and technical specifications and knowledge of AutoCAD and irrigation scheduling.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate with irrigation teams.
• Use software tools for system design and scheduling (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS, irrigation controllers).
• Knowledge of relevant local regulations and technical standards.
• A team player with proven ability to work under Pressure and to meet deadlines.
