In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing irrigation systems that keep outdoor spaces vibrant and thriving. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new system installations to ongoing maintenance, all while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Install new irrigation systems across residential, commercial, and landscape projects, ensuring precise placement and functionality.
• Conduct system troubleshooting to diagnose issues with irrigation equipment and automated control systems, then perform repairs efficiently.
• Perform irrigation system maintenance tasks such as valve adjustments, sprinkler head replacements, and pipe repairs to keep systems operating smoothly.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other construction equipment to excavate trenches and prepare sites for installation or repair work.
• Collaborate with landscaping teams to integrate irrigation systems seamlessly into existing landscape designs and ensure optimal soil moisture management.
• Diagnose electrical issues related to automated irrigation controls and perform electrical diagnostics to resolve system faults.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining system operations, maintenance procedures, and addressing client questions professionally.

Requirements

• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience in irrigation management, system troubleshooting, and repair projects.
• Hands-on experience with new irrigation system installation projects and ongoing irrigation maintenance.
• Familiarity with landscaping principles, soil science, lawn care, and landscape maintenance practices.
• Ability to operate excavation equipment such as excavators and use hand tools or power tools safely and effectively.
• Knowledge of electrical diagnostics related to automated irrigation control systems.
• Construction experience or background working with irrigation equipment, sprinkler systems, or related infrastructure is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
