Irrigation Service Technician

About the role

Service our products including all TORO, IRRInet control and other monitoring and fertigation systems. Specify materials and cost projects. Undertake and manage installation and servicing of systems. Provide technical support to clients. Increase water management product and service sales. Maintain client relationships, build trust. Assemble irrigation, pump controls, electrical and lighting control systems. Train to be the leader in all control from Parkland. Train clients and Parkland staff.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical service and support to clients via telephone, online and personal support
• Undertake system fault finding and correction
• Carry out system maintenance and repairs to a high standard
• Provide system operational and maintenance guidance to clients
• Undertake system testing on completion of work to verify performance
• Accurately record and report on completed service, maintenance and repair work
• Install and programme TORO, IRRInet and other control systems
• Install and programme Spectrum monitoring systems
• Help specify and design systems to meet client needs
• Assist with installation of pipe, wire, fittings, pumps etc as required

About you

• Technical knowledge of water management and irrigation systems
• Ability to provide technical support and training to clients and contractors
• System design and specification capability
• Project management skills for system installation and upgrades
• Sales and business development experience
• Strong client relationship management skills
