Irrigation Technician

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial irrigation systems. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently while providing excellent customer service.

Duties

• Install, maintain and repair irrigation systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot irrigation system issues, including valves, controllers, wiring, pumps and sprinkler heads.
• Perform system inspections and repairs.
• Program and adjust irrigation controllers and smart irrigation technology.
• Identify leaks, pressure issues, and system inefficiencies
• Ensure irrigation systems comply with local water conservation regualtions.
• Maintain equipment and tools.
• Communicate with customer regarding repairs, recommendation and system operation.
• Complete service reports and work orders accurately and timely.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous irrigatoin, landscaping or related field experience preferred.
• Knowledge of irrigation system components, troubleshooting and repairs.
• Ability to read irrigation plans and diagrams is a plus
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Irrigation certification is a plus but not required.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.11 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
