Irrigation Technician

All Purpose Landscaping, a leading lawn and landscape service industry company is preparing to hire an Irrigation Technician!

• Do you love finding a needle in a haystack via irrigation repair?
• Do you find a challenge in identifying the electrical, plumbing, or system configuration problems in an irrigation install – then repairing it – for the benefit of the client and their lawn and landscape?
• Are you looking for a position in a fast-growing service industry company?
• Do you have a passion for working with clients to execute repairs to their satisfaction?

If so, you might be perfect for our growing Colorado Springs, Colorado-based company.

An Irrigation Technician must have excellent communication and people skills, with a focus on customer service and working knowledge of multiple irrigation systems. Following a process and hitting client deadlines is a key to success.

You must successfully be able to:

• Work in outdoor environment for entire scheduled shift
• Safely operate, troubleshoot, install, and repair irrigations systems and components of all kinds
• Activate and Winterize irrigation systems
• Troubleshoot light electrical issues
• Program irrigation controllers
• Navigate routes
• Be flexible with other duties as assigned

Required Education and Licenses:

• High School Diploma
• Clean and Valid Driver’s License, insurable on a policy

Required Experience:

• Ability to repair irrigation systems of all kinds
• Ability to troubleshoot components of all manner of irrigation systems
• Knowledge of activating and winterizing irrigation systems
• Knowledge of Irrigation Controller programming
• Knowledge of all manners of Irrigation Products
• Knowledge of light electrical troubleshooting
• Know how to use smart phone apps and other technology
• Self-motivated
• Excellent customer service skills
• Detail oriented
• Good verbal communication skills
• Be able to stand/walk majority of the day
