IT Administrator – File Transfer

We are looking for an IT Administrator – File Transfer!

Responsibilities:

• Manage File Transfer and Data Exchange environments, ensuring the secure and accurate transfer of sensitive data between internal teams and external entities.
• Gather technical requirements for new file transfer setups and data exchange flows.
• Participate in change request processes related to connectivity updates and technical or functional changes.
• Perform and coordinate rigorous testing of implemented configurations to ensure reliable and error-free data transfers.
• Participate in the implementation and follow-up of connectivity initiatives.
• Configure sensitive data exchanges with a high level of precision to prevent data leakage or data loss.
• Identify gaps in existing data exchange processes and propose improvements to security and efficiency.
• Maintain comprehensive and detailed documentation of file transfer mappings and configurations.
• Prioritize connectivity projects and take ownership of assigned activities.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external system administrators, providing regular status updates.
• Provide Level 3 support for file transfer incidents, analysing data exchange failures and implementing immediate workarounds to minimize business impact.
• Manage and maintain Axway solutions, particularly Axway CFT and Axway SecureTransport, ensuring high availability.
• Monitor and follow up on scheduled flows, real-time exchanges, and batch transfers.
• Ensure known issues are properly documented to support first-line teams.
• Communicate directly with external system administrators in English to troubleshoot connectivity and handshake issues.
• Support the stability and reliability of the overall data exchange infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Technical Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience with Axway software, particularly Axway CFT and/or Axway SecureTransport.
• Experience managing services running on Linux or Windows Servers, including start, stop, deployment, and debugging activities.
• Strong knowledge of file transfer protocols, including SFTP, FTPS, and HTTPS.
• Good understanding of network fundamentals, including TCP/IP, Firewalls, and Load Balancers.
• Strong ability to analyse complex technical scenarios from a systems administration perspective.
• High level of precision and attention to detail, particularly when handling sensitive data.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple external connections simultaneously.
• Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving data exchange standards.
• Strong ownership and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory.
• Ability to troubleshoot connectivity and handshake issues with international technical teams.
