Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Administrator with strong hands-on experience in networking and network infrastructure management to join our team in Dubai.

As we operate in the trading industry, network stability, speed, reliability, and uninterrupted connectivity are critical to our business operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimising our network infrastructure to ensure reliable connectivity for trading platforms, market data systems, business applications, servers, and employees.

We are looking for a technically strong professional who can independently manage network infrastructure, troubleshoot complex connectivity issues, minimise downtime, and ensure high network performance in a fast-paced trading environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesNetworking & Infrastructure – Primary Responsibility

• Design, configure, manage, and maintain the company's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN connections.
• Ensure stable and reliable network connectivity for trading platforms, financial market data systems, and business-critical applications.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot latency, packet loss, bandwidth utilisation, connectivity interruptions, and network bottlenecks.
• Configure and manage VLANs, IP addressing, subnetting, TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, and DHCP.
• Manage network connectivity between offices, servers, workstations, and remote users.
• Implement network redundancy, failover, and high-availability solutions to minimise service interruptions.
• Monitor network availability and proactively identify and resolve issues that could affect trading operations.
• Configure and maintain network equipment, wireless access points, and structured network infrastructure.
• Coordinate with internet service providers and network vendors to resolve connectivity issues and improve performance.
• Maintain network diagrams, configuration backups, IP address records, and technical documentation.
• Support secure and reliable connectivity for trading terminals, market data feeds, and other business-critical systems.

IT Administration & Technical Support

• Manage Windows systems, Active Directory, user accounts, access permissions, and Group Policies.
• Administer Microsoft 365, email systems, and user access.
• Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Maintain IT assets, software licences, system updates, backups, and technical documentation.
• Support server infrastructure and coordinate with external IT service providers when required.
• Ensure timely resolution of IT incidents and maintain business continuity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience, with networking as the primary area of expertise.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of routing, switching, VLANs, LAN/WAN, WLAN, TCP/IP, subnetting, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
• Practical experience configuring and troubleshooting routers, managed switches, wireless access points, and enterprise network infrastructure.
• Experience with network monitoring, performance optimisation, redundancy, and failover configurations.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex network issues independently.
• Working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced trading environment where network availability and performance are business-critical.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cisco CCNA or CCNP certification.
• CompTIA Network+ certification or equivalent.
• Experience in commodities trading, forex, brokerage, financial services, or other trading environments is an advantage.
• Experience supporting business-critical systems, real-time market data feeds, and low-latency network connectivity is preferred.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a hands-on networking professional who can independently manage the company's network infrastructure, identify and resolve complex connectivity issues, optimise network performance, and ensure reliable connectivity for business-critical trading operations.

Candidates with strong networking expertise are preferred. General IT helpdesk or desktop support experience alone will not be sufficient for this role.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
