IT Application Developer

The IT Application Developer is responsible and accountable for (but not limited to) the following:

• Analyze business requirements to ensure applications would be developed accordingly
• Develop/Modify/Maintain/Enhance internally developed applications to match business processes and requirements
• Plan development activities and complete within estimations.
• Works with stakeholders and functional areas to analyze business requirements

An ideal candidate will have the following skills:

Essential (must have or will not be considered):

• Demonstrates interpersonal skills required to successfully work in a team environment and communicates effectively across a variety of stakeholder groups
• At least 5 years programming/development experience in .NET 3.0/4.0, C#, Entity Framework, HTML5, JavaScript and jQuery
• Experience with SQL Server 2008/2012, and the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack, particularly SSIS & SSRS
• Expertise building secure web and RESTful APIs using OData, JSON framework
• Experience in Visual Studio 2013 & above and Configuration Management tools such as TFS or GitHub
• Experience developing in or interfacing with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or AX

Ideal:

• Must be a dynamic and self-starting individual who is able to work independently or as part of a team with minimal guidance and direction
• Experience with BI reporting tools, preferably Power BI
• Must be able to continuously learn new skills to keep abreast of industry trends and state of the art technology
• Must be able to effectively prioritize and assign work in order to meet deadlines
• Must be able to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical users at all levels of an organization
• Experience in defining detailed business requirements to support projects
• Knowledge of cloud computing technology and systems
• B.E/B.Tech degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or a related field

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
