IT Application Executive

Key Responsibilities

• SAP & Application Support
  • Ensure that ERP (SAP), POS, Retail Applications operate efficiently.
  • Manage configurations, upgrades, and troubleshooting in coordination with users and regional/group IT.
  • Log and track all incidents via the ticketing system, performing root cause analysis for timely resolution.
• System Administration & Data Integrity
  • Perform system configuration and user administration tasks.
  • Develop and maintain data interfaces, exports/imports, and ensure high-performance data exchange between SAP and local systems.
  • Proactively monitor system alerts and perform quality checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Process Optimization & Projects
  • Analyze retail business processes and produce data flow diagrams to recommend usability improvements.
  • Support application-related projects, providing technical input for regional rollouts and local deployments.
  • Ensure all system changes align with corporate standards, governance, and Group IT security.
• Stakeholder Coordination
  • Collaborate closely with group/regional IT, local business users, and vendors.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, procedures, and user guides.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT Application role within a retail environment.

Technical Skills:

• Proven expertise in SAP Retail
• Proficiency in SQL / PL-SQL and ERP application management.
• Strong ability to translate business needs into technical actions.
• Soft Skills: Effective communication skills for working within a matrix reporting line; detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities.
