IT Application Support Specialist

Probationary Period: 90 days – Full time; 120 days – Part time

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (hourly)

Classification: Child Related CB

Driver’s License: Level 1 - Driver’s License Required.

Rate of Pay: $22.34 to $25.13 hourly

• Maintain, analyze, and troubleshoot applications for the Enterprise Divisions or the Human Services Division.

• Documents application workflows, integrations, and connectivity with all Enterprise Division or Human Services Division applications.

• Works closely with application power uses to identify the root cause of application related errors/issues.

• Responsible for managing application related upgrades and working with 3rd party vendors for problem resolution and support.

• Research and implement new applications and guide the integration with existing applications.

• Attend mandatory training and has the ability to become certified in Enterprise or Health information systems.

• Appropriate work attire is required.

• Must attend all mandatory department meetings.

• Ensures confidentiality of financial records and all records for employees and/or clients.

• Displays a responsive and professional manner in promptly responding to all requests, complaints, and problems.

• Recognizes that each employee is a representative of the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and is responsible for demonstrating courtesy, respect, and sensitivity to the needs of all others, including visitors and co-workers.

• Represents the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and the department in a positive and professional manner in the community.

• Required to maintain proper attendance including reporting to work on time in accordance with applicable policies.

• Maintains a clean and organized work area.

• Due to changes and modifications in the job from time to time, employees are required to be flexible and assume other responsibilities assigned by management as deemed necessary.

• Valid Driver’s License issued in the US is required.

• Bachelor's degree in the IT field or its equivalent; 5 years’ of in working with enterprise or health information systems or in a related field; or a combination of education and experience.

• Knowledge of computer applications to include word processing, databases, and/or data entry is required.

• Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in the IT field is required.

• The ability to create detailed and thorough documentation that is kept up to date is required.

• Self-motivation and the ability to learn complicated IT related concepts is required.

• Attention to detail and accuracy when working with applications and team members is required.

• The ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with technical and non-technical staff is required.

• The position may require, on occasion, working before or after normal business hours when tasks require it.

• Subject to drug and alcohol testing in accordance with the Fond du Lac Reservation’s Personnel Policies.

• Travel is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds is required.
• Walking, standing, bending, stooping, climbing, pushing, and pulling are required.
