What they need
General Responsibilities:
The IT Assistant position installs, modifies and makes minor repairs to personal computer hardware and software systems, and provides technical advice and support to system users.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Installs hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers and disk drives for end users.
- Loads appropriate software packages such as operating systems, networking components and office applications.
- Provides telephone, in-person and online support to end-users.
- Connects users to networks and provides initial training in facilities and applications
- Ensures operational procedures are followed at all times.
- Must be willing to work extended hours.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
